Acts, performances announced for 2018 KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - Tickets are now on sale for the 2018 KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival.

Organizers revealed the attractions, acts and performances on Monday morning.

"We’re bringing back the Cristal Spiegel Tent which will for 11 days at One Fringe Place," said Erica Fee, producer for the festival. "And will be bring in the brand new Cirque Du Fringe side."

New this year will be Bushwhacked Backyard: an actual backyard attached to Abby DeVuyst and Kerry Young’s Bushwhacked tent show. There will be five, new, interactive Bushwhacked Backyard improv comedy events.

This year's headlining act for the Fringe Festival will be comedian Eddie Izzard.

There will also be a University of Rochester student-led art and music festival on the last day.

Also on the lineup this year: Massaoke - a live band which performs "hairbrush" anthems - will make its North American debut, performing at Parcel 5. This will be among Fringe's free events.
