NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) --Country Music icon Dolly Parton has been nominated for two Grammy Awards.

The list of nominees for 2020 Grammys was released on Wednesday morning with Parton receiving nods in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song category and Best Song Written For Visual Media category.

Parton's work on God Only Knows with King & Country received the nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music. She and Linda Perry were also nominated for writing Girl in the Movies, a track in the film Dumplin', which centers around a character who worships Parton.

The awards show is slated to air on Sunday, January 26.

A television series based on Parton premiered on Netflix this month. "Dolly Parton's Heartstrings" is an eight-part anthology series "celebrating family, faith, forgiveness."
