(WHAM) - Two people were treated at the scene of a crash Monday morning after deputies said an Arc bus went off the road in Seneca Falls.

Seneca County Sheriff's deputies said the crash happened around 7:35 a.m.

Deputies were called to State Route 318 near Gravel Road for the report of a crash with injuries. When they arrived, deputies said they found a bus driver and passenger on the bus, which was on its side in a ditch.

The road was slick and covered in snow, which caused the bus to skid, spin 180 degrees and go off the road into the ditch on the south side of the road.

Both the driver and passenger were checked out at the scene by North Seneca Ambulance and released.

The bus was towed; no tickets were issued.
