Ossian, N.Y. (WHAM) - A man from Ossian was arrested on DWI and domestic violence charges after Livingston County Sheriff's deputies said he threatened a person and damaged items at their home.

Deputies were called to a home on Valley Road on May 9 for the report of a domestic incident.

While heading to the home, deputies were told that the suspect, 64-year-old David Andersen, had left the home. He was found driving his car down Dock Street in the village of Dansville.

After being pulled over, Andersen was tested and taken into custody for DWI.

Andersen was arrested and charged with DWI, two counts of felony first-degree criminal contempt, felony criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and multiple vehicle and traffic violations. He was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
