(WHAM) - A man from Savannah, Wayne County was arrested after Wayne County Sheriff's investigators said he raped a girl for two years.
Deputies said Heath Waldron, 35 was arrested after an investigation into child sex abuse allegations by the Wayne County Child Protective Services.
According to deputies, Waldron raped and abused a teenage girl at his family's home from February 2018 until May 2020.
Deputies arrested Waldron and charged him with first-degree rape, first-degree criminal sex act, and first-degree sex abuse.
Waldron was arraigned on the charges and released to reappear at a later date. A stay away order of protection was issued to protect the victim.
