Fairport NHS members bring cards, letters for seniors at assisted living facility

(WHAM) - People living at Cobbs Hill Manor in Rochester are feeling the love after a project by Fairport High School National Honor Society students.

Students came together to make more than 100 homemade greeting cards and handwritten letters for residents.

Each of the letters and cards was disinfected and then hung along the length of a window at the home so people living at the home.

Staff members read the positive messages aloud each day to groups of residents living at the home.

Students said they wanted to bring smiles to people living at Cobbs Hill Manor.

Seniors who live at the home are planning to write back to the students.
