Fox captured after biting multiple people in Charlotte

(WHAM) - A fox believed to have bitten at least two people in the Charlotte area was captured Wednesday.

Rochester Police were contacted Wednesday afternoon after a 911 call about a fox that had bitten a person near Latta Road and Lighthouse Street.

Officers responded to the area, along with Animal Services, and began to search for the fox.

Personnel managed to trap the fox and remove it from the neighborhood.

Christopher Fitzgerald, Director of Animal Services in Rochester, said his office will follow up with the Monroe County Department of Health about the fox.
