Geneva, N.Y. (WHAM) - A man was shot and killed in Geneva Tuesday night and police are searching for suspects.
Police said they were called to Geneva General Hospital around 9:40 p.m. for a man who had been shot in the chest.
The man, later identified as 38-year-old Pliekou Irvin, Sr., died a short time later.
Officers later determined Irvin was shot on Middle Street near Exchange Street in Geneva with an unknown type of gun.
Investigators said they are looking to speak with persons of interest but are not releasing any further details in order to not jeopardize the investigation.
