Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - More than 100,000 people attended the 2019 KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival - a huge jump compared to the previous year.
This was the eighth year for the festival in Rochester.
By contrast, there were 78,000 people who attended the festival in 2018.
There were 667 shows which brought back crowd favorite performances of crowd sing-along Massaoke and the giant glowing inflatable undersea-themed balloons Plasticiens Volants.
The 2020 KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival is scheduled to run for 12 days - September 15 - 26.
Submissions for shows will open in February 2020.
