(WHAM) - A man from Ontario, Wayne County was arrested by Wayne County Sheriff's deputies for allegedly boating while drunk.
Deputies were called around 2 a.m. Sunday for the report of a boat having problems on Lake Ontario near Sodus.
According to deputies, Justin Trevett, 24, had run out of fuel while on Lake Ontario and his boat began to take on water. The U.S. Coast Guard were able to find the boat and brought Trevett and the boat back to shore.
After Trevett came ashore, he met with Wayne County Sheriff's deputies, had a chemical test, and was found to have a BAC of 0.20 percent.
Trevett was arrested for boating while impaired and having a BAC above 0.10 percent.
Trevett was issued appearance tickets and is due to appear in Sodus Town Court on August 3.
