Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - It is a moment they will never forget.
More than 100 people from 41 people became U.S. citizens in Rochester on Thursday.
The newly-sworn citizens took the oath of naturalization at the George Eastman Museum, inside the theater.
Rabii Zbat, who is originally from Morocco, said the ceremony has been a long time coming.
"It means a lot," Zbat said. "After being here ten years, it is a dream come true can participate in democracy and the freedom of living in here."
Rabii also has a sister living here. He said his mother cried when she heard he was becoming a U.S. citizen.
