Gates, n.Y. (WHAM) - Two men and a woman were arrested this week after a burglary and shooting on March 3 in Gates.

Police said 29-year-old Charles Phillips, 32-year-old Michelle Brown, and 30-year-old Santario Martin went to a home on Waldorf Avenue around 5:15 a.m. and broke in.

Phillips and Martin reportedly pistol whipped two victims in the head at the house, then shot one of them while he was trying to run away.

They then allegedly stole several items from the victims and left the home.

Investigators say one of the victims contacted Brown on a website to arrange a date for prostitution. Phillips and Martin then drove to the house.

All three suspects were arrested less than two weeks later and charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and first-degree assault. Phillips and Martin were remanded to the Monroe County Jail on $75,000 cash bail. Brown was remanded on $50,000 bail.

Gates Police worked with the U.S. Marshal's Task Force and Monroe County Crime Analysis Center on this case.
