Buffalo, N.Y. (WHAM) - State Police said they arrested a Rochester woman Saturday afternoon on the Peace Bridge in Buffalo for allegedly driving drunk.
Troopers said 30-year-old Christie Gonzalez was pulled over on the bridge on Rt. 190 around 12:10 p.m.
Two children under the age of 16 were in the vehicle with her. She subsequently was found to have a BAC of 0.15 percent.
Troopers arrested Gonzalez and charged her with two felony counts of aggravated DWI under Leandra's Law, DWI and operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 percent or higher.
Gonzalez was released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to return to court on April 25 at 8:30 a.m. She was turned over to a sober third party.
Troopers said the children were turned over to a responsible party.
