Wednesday marks 18 years since the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 cost thousands of Americans their lives.

Memorials were planned in the Rochester area and across the country today, including an annual vigil in Brockport.

Michael Schwartz was there this morning, talking to three local first responders who traveled to New York City in the aftermath of the attacks: New York State Troopers Mark O'Donnell and Craig Bianchi, and Monroe County Chief Deputy Michael Fowler.
