Pittsford, N.Y. (WHAM) - Saint's Place kicked off its annual super sale on Wednesday morning.

From bikes to toys, all of the items sold at the sale were donated from people around the Rochester community.

The proceeds from the sale play a large role in helping the non-profit organization welcome legal refugees to the Rochester area.

For 20 years, the organization has been providing refugees with everything they need to set up a home.

"They come here virtually with nothing because they have fled their countries," said Isabelle Miller, executive director at Saint's Place. "They're refugees. They didn't want to leave, but they had to leave. So when they can come here and we can help them, we do. And then many of them move on, they get jobs and they come back here to shop, which is a great moment for us when they do."

If you missed the sale Wednesday, there is still an opportunity to get involved. St. Louis Church in Pittsford is holding the sale through Saturday.
