SUV flips on Rt. 390 North in Henrietta, injuring two

Henrietta, N.Y. (WHAM) - Two people were injured on Friday morning, one seriously, after an SUV crash on Rt. 390 North in Henrietta.

This crash happened around 10 a.m. near the Lehigh Station Road exit.

According to Monroe County Sheriff's deputies, the driver went off the road, flipping the SUV over, sheering off the roof and coming to rest on its side.

During the crash, the woman behind the wheel suffered minor injuries. A man riding as a passenger was thrown from the SUV and was seriously injured. He was talking with first responders at the scene of the crash. Both were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.

Henrietta firefighters and Monroe County Sheriff's deputies were on scene to direct traffic.

The cause of the crash has not yet been released.
