COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) – Dairy Queen quickly sold out of candles that smell like its famous Blizzard ice cream treats.

The candles were part of a promotion to benefit the Children's Miracle Network. The fast-food chain released its line of candles Thursday then tweeted that they were sold out within an hour.

The "Fall Blizzard Treat Candle Collection" included six different scents:

  • Pumpkin pie
  • Caramel apple pie
  • Snickerdoodle cookie dough
  • Oreo mocha fudge
  • Brownie dough
  • Choco dipped strawberry

100% of the purchase price went to the Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Dairy Queen hasn't released the fundraising totals yet, but the candles were priced at $25 a set.

In 2019, Dairy Queen raised over $9 million for the children's hospital charity.

Didn't get a candle? Dairy Queen also made a Spotify playlist titled "DQ Fall Feels" to enjoy with its new fall Blizzard menu.
